A fiction Story that took place from1842 to 1850. Featuring the Hardships, Battles and Tragedies experienced by the People who established the original Land Grants (The Sangre De Cristo Land Grant). The quest to distribute land to Spanish/Mexican Settlers in Southern Colorado, by Carlos Beaubien's Family and Friends, proved difficult. As Naturalized Mexican Citizens living in Taos, they were taxed unfairly and thus tossed into politics unexpectedly resulting in the loss of life and uncertainty for the future. As a great leader, Carlos Beaubien manages to fulfill a dream and finally distribute land to many Spanish/Mexican Families.
