Description
After her sister was brutally murdered, Lily Wong dedicated her life and ninja skills to the protection of vulnerable women. She now lives above the Los Angeles restaurant owned by her Norwegian father and inspired by the recipes of her Chinese mother, living a double life as both a highly-skilled vigilante and caring daughter. As if taking on the Ukrainian mob and sex traffickers wasn't hard enough, she has to hide the truth from her Hong Kong tiger mom, who is already disappointed in her daughter's less than feminine ways and wants her to settle down and live a normal life. As Lily navigates these two disparate lives, she must confront her family and her past when a mother and son she escorted to a women's shelter become imperiled, forcing her to team up with a mysterious and very lethal stranger to rescue them.
