"El Pensamiento del Día" tiene la mira de ayudar a los miembros de Alcoholicos Anonimos en su programa de vivir un día cada vez Ha sido formulado para aquellos que deseen iniciar cada día con unos minutos de pensamiento, meditación y oración, y para que compartan sus puntos de vista con sus compañeros. Estas lecturas diarias encierran la mayor parte del material empleado en el folleto "Para Alcohólicos Solamente" y demás literatura de A.A., así como algunos pasajes del Libro Grande Alcohólicos Anónimos. Como base para las meditaciones de este libro, hemos utilizado muchos pasajes del libro "Invocación a Dios". Tenemos la esperanza de que estas lecturas diarias puedan ayudar a los miembros de Alcohólicos Anónimos a encontrar la fuerza que necesitan para permanecer sobrios cada veinticuatro horas. "Thought for the Day" has the look of helping members of Alcoholics Anonymous in his program live one day at a time has been formulated for those wishing to start each day with a few minutes of thinking, meditation and prayer, and to share their views with their peers. These daily readings contain most of the material used in the booklet "Alcoholics Only" and other AA literature and passages of the Big Book Alcoholics Anonymous. As a basis for the meditations of this book, we used many passages of "Invocation to God." We hope that these daily readings can help members of Alcoholics Anonymous to find the strength they need to stay sober every twenty four hours. If we do not drink that first drink, we never will drink, because it is always today.
